Import Classes

Importing classes for non-integrated customers in Measuring Up Live.

Updated over a month ago

Measuring Up Live

IMPORTANT!

If you are using one of the integration platforms such as Clever, ClassLink, or Google Classroom, do not use this Data Import page to import your information. Please go to the Help section and find the appropriate instructions for your rostering needs.

NOTE:

Teachers may manually set up classes once you have imported students. You may skip the “Import Classes” step if you wish to have teachers setup classes.

If you are a District Administrator, ensure you have selected the correct school from the drop-down menu at the top of the page before importing a file.

On the Data Import page, under Import Classes, click Download Class Import Template.

The template will open in Excel and allows you to import classes while including a code that automatically enrolls students into the classes when you import them.

Starting with row 5 in the template, complete a row for each class, then save the file.

IMPORTANT!

Do NOT modify the first 5 rows of the template.

To confirm import, scroll to the bottom of the page and check Import History for the Status of import.

  • If the file import was successful, you would see Import Success in the Status column.

  • If the import was not successful, you would see Import Fail in the Status column. This means that none of the classes in the file were imported. Select the Import Fail link to view the errors.

After you have reviewed the errors, open the template file, correct the issues indicated, and upload the file again. Refer to the Troubleshooting Import Errors section on the next page for additional guidance.
