System Requirements

Perfection Next® is a web application available online 24-hours a day, year-round from any location with an Internet connection. While some alternative configurations and devices may work with our products, we officially support the following requirements.

Windows Requirements

Windows 7 or greater
CPU: 1 GHz or faster
RAM: 2 GB or more
Display: 1024x768 and higher

Mac Requirements

Mac OS X 10.9 or greater.
RAM: 2 GB or more
Display: 1024x768 and higher

Supported Tablets

Perfection Next® works with tablet devices including iPad, iPad Mini, iPad Air, iPad Pro, and Android-based tablets.

Recommended screen size of 8 inches or larger.

Chromebooks

Perfection Next® is compatible with Chromebooks running Chrome OS version 130.0 or higher.

Storage Requirements

Perfection Next® is a hosted web-based solution with no data stored to local computer devices, therefore we have no hard drive or other storage requirements to utilize our digital products.

Audio Requirements

Our digital programs utilize audio and video which require audio hardware to benefit from these features.

Other Chromium-based web browsers such as Arc or others should work with Perfection Learning digital products without issue, but are not certified.

We strive to keep the web browsers latest 2 revisions or versions from the prior two-years certified with Perfection Next®. Older browsers may will work without issue, but are not officially supported.

It is recommended that you keep your web browser up-to-date.

Perfection Next® digital products utilize HTML 5.

Web-based Solution (SaaS)

Perfection Next® is a web-based hosted solution that does not require any software to be installed into district/school infrastructure. One just needs to make sure that the appropriate domains (see Firewall Requirements) are enabled in district/school firewall.

Perfection Next® is hosted in Google Cloud infrastructure located in the United States.

Network Requirements

The actual bandwidth requirements will very depending on desired usage model, the number of users, and the products used.

Recommended Networking Capabilities:

T1 minimum; Fiber, ATM, or gigabit connection preferred
Minimum 10/100 Switch; 100 Mbps recommended

If you are seeing performance issues accessing Perfection Next®, we recommend you do a speed test to confirm your bandwidth speed on devices by using a free service such as Speedtest.net.

Firewall Requirements

Customers using Perfection Next® should add the following URL to the whitelist:

For customers integrating with Perfection Next® not through Clever, you will need to add the following URL to the whitelist:

Traffic to our sites should allow for traffic on port 443 for SSL transmission of data to and from Perfection Next®.
