Tips for Monitoring Usage

This article provides school administrators with tips for monitoring product usage.

Monitor your school's usage of Measuring Up Live® using the following reports.

Dashboard

On your Measuring Up Live® Dashboard use the Data Snapshots section.

Use the drop-down menus to filter data by grade, teacher, and/or class.

See overall Student Proficiency or Time on Task per product and subject.

Student Proficiency

Switch between tabs to monitor proficiency in Insight or MyQuest.

Hover over a section in the pie chart to see how many students are represented at that level. Use the arrows to switch between subjects.

More Reports

You will find additional usage data under the Reports tab when logged into Measuring Up Live®.

Reports with this icon are available for download. Formats for each report include either Microsoft Excel and/or Adobe PDF. Just look for the download icon.

Log in History (Administrative)

Provides administrators with the frequency of faculty and students logging into Measuring Up Live®. This report is available for district administrators.

Select the School Year, Time Frame, then select Generate Report.

Teacher Tab

See the number of times each teacher has logged in and the date of the last login.

Student Tab

Filter students by grade level. You will see the number of times each student has logged in and the date of last login.

Product Usage

Provides an overview of implementation showing how much time students are spending on assessment and practice. This report can be run at the school, class, or student level.

Select your parameters from the drop-down menus and select Generate Report.

Overview

Select the tabs to see details of Insight or MyQuest use. The graph of use shows usage by Assessments or Practice.

Total Over Time Frame

Select tabs to see details on average per day, week, month, or over time. See the average times per class Assessments and Practice. Select a class name to drill into detail per student.

Select Insights Assessments or MyQuest Practice to see more details. See the graph of time spent per subject. Hover over a section in the pie chart to see subject detail.

Use drop-down filter to change subject. Select tabs to see details on average per day, week, month, or over time. See the breakdown of average time spent on questions and assessments.

Weekly Product Usage Report

Provides an overview of weekly implementation by teacher per class, showing how much time students are spending on assessment and practice. This report is available at the school level.

Select your parameters from the drop-down menus and select Generate Report.

For each teacher and class see time spent per week broken down by Insight and MyQuest. Use the scroll bars to scroll up and down or right to left. Select a class name to expand details for each student.
