Explains Archimedes Principle and buoyancy. Describes how to figure out buoyancy and the weight of objects when removed from water.

A PhET simulation of buoyancy. The user can manipulate the blocks, masses, volume, and density to see how buoyancy can change. The second page, “buoyancy playground,” shows how different substances have different buoyancy and how these different substances would react in different liquids.
